New Trends in Linguistics, Literature, and Translation
Call for Papers

Kodolányi János University (KJU), the Department of English Language and Literature (Hungary, Budapest), and Lviv State University of Life Safety (LSULS), the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies (Lviv, Ukraine), are organising the conference “New Trends in Linguistics, Literature, and Translation” on 19 November 2019. The conference will take place at both universities simultaneously in 1139 Budapest, Frangepán Str. 50-56, Hungary, and 79000 Lviv, Kleparivska Str. 35, Ukraine. The Universities will work and communicate with each
other via Skype for Business. In the event of your not being able to attend in person, you are welcome to join our conference via Skype.

The conference aims to bring together and create a platform for researchers working in the fields of Linguistics, Literature, and Translation as well as to support and encourage young researchers by providing them an opportunity to present their findings.

The sessions will discuss a variety of topics but are not limited to:
1. Structural language levels in synchrony and diachrony: phonetics, morphology, and syntax.
2. Current approaches to methodology, grammar, semantics interpretation, and translation.
3. New prospects in literary research. 
4. Transcultural identities and perspectives within communication, literature, and translation.

The language of the conference is English
Format of the Conference: Internet conference via Skype
Duration of presentations: 10 minutes
The programme of the conference will be sent to participants by e-mail by the end of October 2019.

Registration forms with short bio-notes of 100-150 words are to be sent in Word format. Also, for any enquiries regarding the conference programme, please contact: Dr. Viktória Albert (kjeconference@gmail.com) and Dr. Olexandra Palchevska (palch56@ukr.net). 
It is possible to participate in the conference and discussions without contributing a presentation.

To participate in the conference, please e-mail the organizing committee the following two files:
1. a short bio-note narrated in the 3rd person singular and named Author’s Last Name_paper, e.g., Albert_bio 
2. a registration form (a Microsoft Office Word containing all the information about the participant, see below) named Author’s Last Name_info, e.g., Albert_info

Important Dates:
Deadline for submission (registration form and bio-note): 20 October 2019.
Deadline for full-text article submission: 30 November 2019.
After the conference, the articles will be recommended for publication. The organizing  committee of the conference plans to publish the materials of the conference in Львівський Філологічний Часопис (Lvivskyj Filolohichnyj Chasopys), ISSN: 2663- 340X (Print), 2663-3418 (Online), Index Copernicus International (Poland), http://www.philologyjournal.lviv.ua
